I believe that we can identify the angle of the pedal bone in chronic laminitics by using this plastic sheet and without X-raying the feet. (See "Strasser’s Plastic Sheet")
How much will it cost you to have radiographs taken of the feet just once – and then there are the follow-ups?
{Radiographs do supply more information on the progress and prognosis of laminitis cases and it may be necessary to take X-rays for correct placement of surgical shoes, a necessity for heart-bar shoes.} (See Radiography)
